When we celebrated our practice’s 40th anniversary this summer, one refrain kept coming up in conversations: Man, a lot has changed!
Health care hasn’t sat still for a minute, and the only way we’ve continued to serve our community as long as we have is by keeping up.
That goes for communication, too. Forty years ago, when our files were on paper and the phone—the kind that plugs into the wall—was our main connection with patients, we sure didn’t envision Facebook.
But change isn’t bad, even when it’s a lot of work. We’ve loved communicating with you on social media. It’s strengthened our little Muncie community, and we appreciate how much easier it is to help you stay informed, especially in these confusing pandemic days.
QR codes have been around for a hot minute, but they’re our latest attempt to keep you in the know.
That bar-code-looking square over there will connect you instantly to Internists Associated’s latest office announcements. Look for our poster around the building, and next time you’re twiddling your thumbs in our exam room, get out your phone and scan it. You can do that simply by opening up your smartphone camera and aiming—a link will immediately pop up that you just have to click. (Alternatively, you can download a specialized QR code app from the App Store.)
We’ll be updating this info regularly, so keep clicking! A step too far? You’ll find the same info on this page on our website: https://www.internistsassociated.com/announcements/
Oh, and we promise not to stop answering the phone.
